Utah Film Critics Association 2023 Awards Nominees

The Utah Film Critics Association is pleased to announce our nominees for excellence in filmmaking this past year.

Oppenheimer led the way with 10 nominations including Best Picture, Best Achievement in Directing for Christopher Nolan, Best Lead Performance Male for Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Performance Female for Emily Blunt, as well as two more acting categories, Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography, Score, Editing,

Poor Things was recognized with nine nominations including Best Picture, Best Achievement in Directing for Yorgos Lanthimos, Best Lead Performance Female and the Vice/Martin Award for Emma Stone, Best Supporting Performance Male for Mark Ruffalo, as well as Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography, Score, and Visual Effects.

The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Barbie tied for third place with seven nominations each.

The Utah Film Critics Association will meet on January 6, 2024 to vote and decide the winners.
