Brooks Bird started reviewing movies in 2009, but has been a cinephile his entire life. How much? He has two dachshunds named Beatrix Kiddo (from Kill Bill) and Pixar (from the animation studio) and a daughter named Sidney (from Scream). He reviews new film releases for The Reel Place and home video releases for Blog Critics. He has also covered the Sundance Film Festival. Prior to reviewing movies, Brooks worked as a studio screening representative for eight years.
