Sean P. Means has been a writer and editor at The Salt Lake Tribune, Utah’s largest newspaper, since 1991. From 1993 to 2018, he was the paper’s movie critic — and covered the Sundance Film Festival from 1993 to 2026 (when the festival said goodbye to Utah). He’s currently the deputy enterprise editor at The Tribune. He continues to review movies, for X96’s “Radio From Hell” show on Friday mornings, and on his website, The Movie Cricket (moviecricket.net).
